Principal's Message

Dear Hyde Park Families,

Welcome to Hyde Park Early Education Center! It is my privilege to serve as your principal and partner in your child's early learning journey.

Our program is built on The Creative Curriculum®, a research-based approach that recognizes play as children's most important work. Through intentional play experiences in carefully designed learning centers, your child will explore, discover, and build critical skills across all areas of development—from early literacy and math to social-emotional growth and problem-solving.

In our classrooms, you'll see children engaged in meaningful play: building with blocks to understand spatial relationships, creating stories in the dramatic play area to develop language, investigating natural materials to spark scientific thinking, and collaborating with peers to build social skills. Our teachers thoughtfully observe and support each child's learning, using play as the foundation for school readiness and a lifelong love of learning.

We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. Your child's home language and culture are valued in our classrooms, and we encourage you to stay connected with your child's teachers and our school community.
